And played Isle of Wight as a bass player of Denis Couldry & Smile.
His name became well-known in rock/jazz music scene in this year.
He started his life as a professional musician.

Playing with Gilbert O'Sullivan, Elton John, Donovan, Drifters, Roy Harper, John Cale, Nick Mason, Frankie Miller, Joan Armatrading, Robert Gordon, Mike Batt, Wombles, Jeff Wayne's War of the World ... Paul McCartney and Roxy Music.
Yes, he got a UK TOP10 hit song Motorbikin' in 1975.

Fifty years have passed. He has released 13 solo studio albums and 3 live albums by now and is still one of the top freelance musicians and touring with Bryan Ferry all over the world.

Chris Spedding and his all-star band, Henry Spinetti on drums, Marc 'Archie' Arciero on bass and Jono Harrison on keyboards/vocals, got excited.
Spedding picked up some rare songs which he hasn't played at his solo shows before.
One is She's My Friend, which was from his first solo album Backwood Progression and another is Jack Bruce's Theme For an Imaginary Western (Jono Harrison on vocals).
The venue was full of fans. They made a wise choice. They must have enjoyed the CHRIS SPEDDING STYLE and SOUND to the full. And you can enjoy the show by this brand new live album FACE to FACE.
