Chris Spedding in France

at Chato'do, Blois on April 13 2001

Sorry, I can't write this review. I was drunk much. I was drinking a bit before the gig, but continued drinking during opening act by le King's. The club is not so big, but much audienceand they were good, and le King played good rock'n'roll... I was happy, and another beer, it made me happier, then another beer...
I think this gig was better than Paris'. I don't know which of their performance was better as a band, but on Chris' playing, Blois was far better. It is because I was drunk! And because of better audience! They shout "Mama Coca"(!!!), "Rockbilly Boogie" and "One More, One More" for encore.
Please see the set list. He did "Breakout"! I guess he played this song for the first time since the Sharks' reunion gig in 1995. When he started playing this song, I couldn't understand what he was playing. This may be the best song for me, in fact, when I decided to make his fan club in 1992, I want ed to name it 'Breakout'. And at the second encore, he did "Pogo Dancing"!!! I don't think I have heard this song onstage before.
Later than Paris gig, they played "Counterfeit" instead of "Remember".
